THRASHER YOUTH

Thrasher United Methodist Church believes that teens need a place where they can be surrounded by friends and mentors that lead them to God.

We also believe that teens need a space to explore passions, try new things and go on adventures to help them find who they are. The youth ministry at Thrasher focuses on providing a God centered experience to everyone in 6th through 12th grade by monthly and annual mission opportunities, retreats, weekly gathering and spending time in fellowship together. Sundays

Youth meeting at 6:00 PM. Worship, games, music and free dinner. What could make a better Sunday night?



Summer Missions

A middle school mission trip to the Jeremiah Project and a high school mission trip to the Appalachian Service Project. Both are week long construction missions to repair homes and grow closer to Christ.



Retreats

Get away from the stress and drama of life and center ourselves on Jesus. We have taken trips for high school students to Resurrection in Pigeon Forge, TN, for middle school students to Journey Retreat and for everyone to Virginia Tech’s campus with other churches in the Roanoke District.
