At Thrasher United Methodist Church we believe that children are among God’s most precious gifts and we believe that God calls us to the highest standards of love and care in children’s ministry.
Whether you are a new parent bringing your precious little one to the nursery for the first time or a seasoned veteran with children of all ages, we want you to have the absolute confidence that we will make every effort to provide a first-class experience for your child.

Guide kids on the ultimate Alaskan adventure where northern lights glow over majestic mountains, racing rivers, and glistening glaciers. As kids trek the tundra, they’ll explore how easy it is to lose sight of what’s true in our wild world today. Pointing them toward Jesus, True North VBS shows them that he is a faithful friend we can always trust. He’s our True North! !
Nursery
Nursery is provided on Sundays from 9:00am-noon.
There are many opportunities to join in one of our Sunday School Classes/Small Groups
ThrasherKIDS for ages 3 (preK) - 5th grade
Children are invited to join us at the beginning of the 9am & 11am worship services. We will dismiss them for ThrasherKIDS from the sanctuary and will return your child to you in the sanctuary toward the end of the service.
Sunday School
Sunday School is available for all kids, preschool and up, at 10am on Sundays in the Children’s Wing (Orange Room).
Kids' Choir
