United Methodist Women
Our Purpose:
The organized unit of United Methodist Women shall be a community of women whose purpose
is to know God and to experience freedom as whole persons through Jesus Christ;
to develop a creative, supportive fellowship; and to expand concepts of mission through
participation in the global ministries of the church.
Thrasher's United Methodist Women meet the 4th Tuesday of each month (except February,
June, July and December) in the Jones Fellowship Hall at 10:30 AM. We have a picnic with
the UMMen at 6 PM in June and a Christmas lunch in December.
The focus of all our meetings is to interpret the Purpose of United Methodist
Women, a part of the Women's Division of the United Methodist Church.
Under that umbrella we participate in many mission projects.
There are 6 Circles, each welcoming new members. These Circles meet various mornings
